What is it?

This is a great introduction into the complex nature of the coral reef and its biology and combines scientific study with teaching scuba divers how to recognise vital signs of its decline and how to protect it in the future.

Who is it for?

You don’t need to be a diver to sign up and it DOES count towards your Master Scuba Diver qualification if you are trying to qualify right up to the top.

This specialty is extremely valuable to anyone wanting to take the dive pro route too because, as front line ambassadors for the ocean, you will want to educate your divers about the issues surrounding the decline of the coral reefs and the increasing dangers it faces year by year.

• Prerequisites: Any diver or non-diver that wants to learn about coral

What’s involved?

Simply attend a Zoom presentation or a classroom session, Knowledge review to be submitted some time after class.
